The cost for the day is $55 per person and includes deluxe motor coach transportation from Laconia, museum admission and audio tour of the exhibit and over two hours to explore Boston’s North End where you can have lunch on your own and shop the wonderful markets. The motor coach will return the group to Laconia around 6 p.m. Space is limited. Grace was born Graziosa Distefano in Italy and moved to the USA where she met her husband, Jerry who is Irish/French Canadian and has embraced the Italian culture. Glimpses of the 29 March '11 Meeting

Our guest speakers at the meeting of 29 Mar. took us on a hike through the Dolomites of northern Italy. After all that exercise, we were famished .... time for the Pot Luck!

... and the Italian fare was outstanding. Here Blaise looks over the vino situation! One down, one to go!

Four of us in different states but each with fork in hand! Seems Joe and Mary Lou are checking out the buffet table ... possibly for seconds? There sure was enough food.

An Evening of Entertainment with SALVATORE BASILE (22 MAY, 2010)

Salvatore cranks out one of many rousing Italian songs for us.

Later in the evening, following refreshments, Salvatore performed a moving rendition of 'Caruso'.

A great time was had by all, even this 96 year old attendee!

... and there were dedication that night - this one to his 81 year old dad who along with his mother and other family members were in attendance. It was his dad, from Girifalcone, Calabria who taught Salvatore to play the guitar.
